Why should Tiger have all the fun?  You can have an affair, too!

Is Tiger Woods’ wife seeking a divorce?  Opinions seem to vary.

In the aftermath of his car crash and the allegations that he has been secretly seeing as many as eighteen women on the side, Tiger Woods seems to have disappeared.  Rumors have placed him all over the globe, but no one really seems to know where the golf pro is at the moment.

With Tiger out of sight, attention has been directed to his wife, Swedish model Elin Nordegren.  She hasn’t been seen much in public, either, though she was seen today moving boxes out of an office the couple have in Florida.  She has been rumored to have consulted with attorney Sorrell Trope, known as one of the preeminent divorce lawyers in the country.  Her legal team has been reportedly working on creating some sort of "post-nuptial" agreement that may pay her a tremendous amount of money to stay with Tiger for a predetermined amount of time.

Ms. Nordegren signed a prenuptial agreement with the golf pro prior to marrying him in 2005.  The payouts set in that agreement do not change if it turns out that her husband has been unfaithful.  On the other hand, Tiger may benefit greatly in the court of public opinion if his wife stays with him for several years longer.  By keeping his family together, Tiger may be able to restore some of the sponsorships that he’s lost since the news of his alleged indiscretions came out in late November.  Prior to the eruption of the marital scandal, Tiger was reportedly earning some $100 million per year.  Since then, a number of sponsors, including communications giant AT&T, have canceled their sponsorship agreements with him.

In early December, several media outlets reported that Elin Nordegren was "absolutely" seeking a divorce.  Now, no one seems to be sure.  Whether she divorces him now or divorces him later, the breakup is sure to cost Tiger a bundle; perhaps hundreds of millions of dollars.

You’ll have an affair.  It’s guaranteed!
