Tickets to the Masters golf tournament, held every April in Augusta, Georgia, are among the most difficult and expensive tickets to acquire in all of professional sports.  Supplies are limited and demand is high and that makes for a very expensive ticket.  With Tiger Woods’ announcement that he will return to golf at the Masters, ticket prices have gone through the roof.  Within hours of the announcement, traffic on Websites that broker tickets quadrupled, and even in a down economy, badges to attend all seven days of the event could run in the $3000-$5000 range, with one site asking a whopping $21,000.

Anyone interested in buying a badge to attend the tournament would be well advised to shop around to find the best price.  But don’t wait – tickets will dry up quickly.
