Why should Tiger have all the fun?  You can have an affair, too!

General Motors Vice Chairman Bob Lutz appeared at a meeting of JD Power and Associates today in Orlando, Florida.  While making remarks after his prepared speech, Lutz mentioned that GM was lucky that news of Tiger’s alleged marital indiscretions broke when they did.  "We weren’t too lucky with Tiger Woods for Buick", said Lutz.

Lutz said that he didn’t think Tiger’s presence sold a lot of cars for the firm.  Not surprising, really.  Would you buy a car based on who appeared in the commercials for the brand? Apparently, the public wasn’t set on buying Buicks just because Tiger Woods said so.

Tiger appeared in a number of ads for Buick, but wasn’t actually a spokesman.  He simply appeared in the ads, sort of as a prop.

Fortunately for Tiger, the car he crashed wasn’t a Buick.  The car he wrecked last November was a Cadillac Escalade.

You’ll have an affair.  It’s guaranteed!
